Yokkaso Explained

Yokkaso (my|ရုက္ခစိုး, MLCTS: rukhka.cui:; Pali: ; Sanskrit: ), also known as Thitpin Saung Nat (my|သစ်ပင်စောင့်နတ်;), are Burmese nats (spirits) who serve as guardians of the trees.

They are related to Bhummaso (Burmese: ဘုမ္မစိုး; bhūmideva), spirits that inhabit the earth; and Akathaso (Burmese: အာကာသစိုး; ākāsadeva), spirits that inhabit the sky.[1]
