Walker Wood Thomas (born August 13, 1963)[1] is an American politician who has served as a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives since January 2017.[2] [3] He represents Kentucky's 8th House district, which includes Caldwell County as well as part of Christian and Trigg counties. Thomas currently serves as chair of the House Standing Committee on Veterans, Military Affairs, and Public Protection.
Thomas was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.[4] [5]
Thomas has owned numerous business interests such as a family entertainment center and Kentucky Moving and Storage. He previously served a term on the Hopkinsville City Council as well as President of the Hopkinsville Rotary Club and Salvation Army.
