Vrion, Sarandë Explained

Vrion (Albanian: Vrioni;) is a village in Vlorë County, southwestern Albania. It is part of the municipality Finiq.^[1] It is located to the east of Sarandë, next to the village of Metoq.^{[2] [3]} Vrion is inhabited solely by Greeks.^[4]

Etymology

The name of the village stems from the surname of Omer Vrioni.^[5]
