Varnensky District (ru|Варненский район; kk|Варна ауданы, Kazakh: Varna aýdany) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia.[1] It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 3853km2.[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Varna. Population: 30,802 (2002 Census); The population of Varna accounts for 36.1% of the district's total population.
