Val-d'Épy (pronounced as /fr/) is a commune in the Jura department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France.[2]
Over time the commune of Épy absorbed the communes of Tarciat (1821), Lanéria (1971) and Poisoux (1972).http://cassini.ehess.fr/fr/html/fiche.php?select_resultat=12795 It acquired its modern name in 1973.
On 1 January 2016, the former communes of Florentia, Nantey and Senaud were also merged into Val-d'Épy.[3] On 1 January 2018, the former commune of La Balme-d'Épy was merged into Val-d'Épy.[4]
