The name Rammasun (th|รามสูร, pronounced as /th/) has been used to name three tropical cyclones in the western north Pacific Ocean. This name was originally spelled Rammasoon by the WMO before an orthographic update in 2002. The name was contributed by Thailand, which means the 'god of thunder'.
The name Rammasun was retired after the 2014 typhoon season and replaced with the name Bualoi (th|บัวลอย, pronounced as /th/) which is a Thai dessert named Bua Loi.
