Turin is a town in Coweta County, Georgia, United States. The population was 347 in 2020, up from 274 at the 2010 census.[4] It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area.
The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Turin as a town in 1890.[5] The town's name is a transfer from Turin, in Italy.[6]
The town of Sharpsburg is immediately to the northwest. Georgia State Route 16 passes through the town, leading northwest to Newnan, the county seat, and southeast 5miles to Senoia.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 4.2sqkm, of which 0.02sqkm, or 0.53%, is water.[4]
In 2000, there were 165 people, 66 households, and 51 families residing in the town. At the 2020 census, there were 347 people in the town.
