This Is Aidan is the debut studio album by Maltese singer-songwriter Aidan. The album was released on 31 March 2023.[1] The album featured four singles, three of which peaked at number one on Malta's singles charts with "Reġina" peaking at number two.[2]

Songs from the album were featured in his debut concert at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre on 31 May 2024.[3]

Background

The album was announced following Aidan's interval performance at Malta's national competition to decide their 2023 Eurovision entry and the release of his single "Reġina" which was disqualified from the competition.[4] The signer posted the front cover of the album on Instagram in February 2023 which featured him in what Malta Daily described as a "pensive look donning a colourful jumper".[4] On 17 March 2023, he revealed the tracklist for the album in a video which included the singles: "Naħseb Fik", "Ritmu", "Rip (Rest in Peace)" and "Reġina".[5] Maltese singer Ira Losco who had collaborated with Aidan on "Rip (Rest in Peace)" commented "Hard work pays off! Well Done!"[5]
