Thienemannimyia Explained
Thienemannimyia is a genus of non-biting midges in the subfamily Tanypodinae of the bloodworm family Chironomidae.
Taxonomy
Some authorities consider Hayesomyia to be a subgenus of Thienemannimyia.[1]
