The Untouchable is the fourth studio album by American rapper Scarface, released by Rap-A-Lot Records and Noo Trybe Records on March 11, 1997.
Commercial performance
The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, becoming Scarface's sole album to reach that position; it also peaked atop the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart for two weeks, giving him his second number one album on that chart. The album sold 169,000 copies in its first week,[1] and was certified Platinum by the RIAA on May 16, 1997.[2]
The album's lead single "Smile", featuring 2Pac, reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is Scarface's only single to go Gold.[3]
