The Silent Planet is a Canadian science fiction film, directed by Jeffrey St. Jules and released in 2024.[1] The film stars Elias Koteas as Theodore, a man who has long been isolated as the sole prisoner in a penal colony on an otherwise uninhabited planet, whose life is disrupted when Niyya (Briana Middleton) is exiled to the planet to join him.[1]

The film was shot in Newfoundland and Labrador in 2023.[2]

It premiered at the 28th Fantasia International Film Festival,[3] where it was first runner-up for the Audience Award for Best Canadian Feature.[4]
