Streptomyces lydicus explained
Streptomyces lydicus is a bacterium species from the genus of Streptomyces which has been isolated from soil in the United States.[1] Streptomyces lydicus produces actithiazic acid, natamycin, lydimycin, streptolydigin,[1] [2] [3] [4] and 1-deoxygalactonojirimycin.[5] Streptomyces lydicus can be used as an agent against fungal plant pathogens like Fusarium, Pythium, Phytophthora, Rhizoctonia and Verticillum.[6] [7] [8] [9] [10]
