Stare Koźle is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bierawa, within Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4km (02miles) north-west of Bierawa, 50NaN0 south of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and 450NaN0 south-east of the regional capital Opole.
In the Silesian plebiscite of 20 March 1921 414 inhabitants voted to remain in Weimar Germany, 236 to join Poland.[2]
