Stage Entrance (Swedish: Sceningång) is a 1956 Swedish drama film directed by Bengt Ekerot and starring Edvin Adolphson, Margit Carlqvist and Gio Petré.[1] It was shot at the Centrumateljéerna Studios in Stockholm and on location around the city.[2] The film's sets were designed by the art director Nils Nilsson.
It portrays a day in the life of the Royal Dramatic Theatre and the various actors, students and others who make up its company as they prepare for a production of King Lear.
