Solid (Woody Shaw album) explained

Solid is an album led by trumpeter Woody Shaw which was recorded in 1986 and released on the Muse label.^{[1] [2]} Solid was reissued by Mosaic Records as part of in 2013.

Reception

Scott Yanow of Allmusic stated, "This CD serves as a perfect introduction to the memorable but always underrated trumpeter Woody Shaw, who tragically had only three years left to live".^[3]
