Silver Lining is the fourteenth album by Bonnie Raitt, released in 2002. "Silver Lining [features] Bonnie and her touring band in all their glory."[1] Raitt noted that "[t]he thing that most excites me about Silver Lining is that we finally get all the punch and the funk into the studio that we've gotten live. The band and I have toured together so much, and we have so much combined versatility under our belts, that doing this album was more like play than work."
