Shuqan Rural District (fa|دهستان شوقان) is in Jolgeh Shuqan District of Jajrom County, North Khorasan province, Iran.[2] It is administered from the city of Shuqan.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 2,538 in 725 households.[4] There were 2,520 inhabitants in 794 households at the following census of 2011.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 2,497 in 779 households. The most populous of its 19 villages was Hesar-e Isa, with 643 people.[6]
