Severny District (ru|Се́верный райо́н) is an administrative and municipal[1] district (raion), one of the thirty in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 15548km2. Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Severnoye. Population: 10,687 (2010 Census); The population of Severnoye accounts for 49.7% of the district's total population.
