Sarayevsky District (ru|Сара́евский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the twenty-five in Ryazan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 2117km2.[3] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Sarai. Population: 17,810 (2010 Census); The population of Sarai accounts for 32.6% of the district's total population.
