Sand Creek Township is one of nine townships in Decatur County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 3,122 (slightly up from 3,120 at 2010[3]) and it contained 1,331 housing units.[4]
Sand Creek Township was organized in 1825.[5]
Westport Covered Bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of, of which (or 99.91%) is land and (or 0.09%) is water.[3]
