The San–São is the name of the Santos FC and São Paulo FC football derby, contested between two of the most successful clubs in Brazilian football.[2] Because of the historical success of the two clubs, both clubs are considered by many fans to be the biggest clubs in Brazil and it is considered one of the biggest derbies in the state of São Paulo.[3]
