Ruten is a mountain in Trøndelag county, Norway. The 1040m (3,410feet) tall mountain is located on the border of the municipalities of Heim and Rindal. The mountain stands about 8km (05miles) southeast of the village of Vinjeøra in Heim. This is the highest point in the municipality of Heim.[3] The mountain has a topographic prominence of 742m (2,434feet) and a topographic isolation of 23.91km (14.86miles).
