Reptyl is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
Reptyl is a reptilian alien and pirate from an unnamed planet in the Coal Sack Nebula. After battling the Silver Surfer on numerous occasions, he is seemingly killed by the Super-Skrull before transforming into the dragon-like Reptyl Prime.[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] He is later given god-like powers by Thanos before eventually losing them.[12]
Reptyl possessed superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, agility, and reflexes as a result of his reptilian alien heritage, as well as a vulnerability to extreme cold. He is additionally an experienced armed and unarmed combatant, a highly skilled leader and space pilot, and a master of most known hand weapons. He wields a ray-pistol and sword.
As Reptyl Prime, he possesses the ability to fly at high speeds, survive in space, and manipulate cosmic energy, and is no longer weak to cold.
