Quatre is one of the Grenadines islands which lie between the Caribbean islands of Saint Vincent and Grenada. It is part of the nation of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
On March 30, 2024, American YouTuber MrBeast released a video on his channel titled 7 Days Stranded On An Island, where he and his friends lived on the island for seven days.[2]
Quatre island lies southwest of Petit Nevis Island, and south of the larger island Bequia and north of Canouan. About away, to the southeast is popular with tourists island Mustique. Until the end of Seven Years' War Quatre island was French colony, along with the other islands of this region. In 1763 they all were ceded to England.
For more than a hundred years, the island has been owned by the Mitchell family, former captains who will continue to keep a part of the island for themselves after sale of big part of island for resort development.
There are cactuses and a few deciduous, tropical trees located in the central forest of the island, along with some specimens of the manchineel tree, one of the deadliest plants in the world. The island was formerly home to pink manjack trees, which were used for shipbuilding.
Chickens, goats, and some biting insects are known to inhabit the island.
