Qaranqu Rural District (fa|دهستان قرانقو) is in the Central District of Hashtrud County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[2] Its capital is the village of Zu ol Bin.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 11,929 in 2,551 households.[4] There were 10,858 inhabitants in 3,021 households at the following census of 2011.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 10,263 in 3,208 households. The most populous of its 47 villages was Zu ol Bin, with 1,309 people.[6]
