Punjwarian (Urdu: پنجوڑیاں) is a village of Kharian city, in Gujrat District of Pakistan's Punjab province. The village is about 12 km from the main Kharian city. It is located[1] near Kharian Cantonment. The village residents mainly belong to the Awan tribe.
As per national census of 1998, Punjabi is the main language of 94% of the Punjwarian population. Urdu, the national language, is spoken widely while English spoken by educated elite.
Most people have agriculture businesses here which are the backbone of the economy.
