Pinery Creek Explained

Pinery Creek is a stream in Washington County in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of Little Indian Creek.[1]

The stream headwaters are at 38.1153°N -90.8839°W and the confluence with Little Indian Creek is at 38.1631°N -90.8481°W. The confluence is about 1.5 miles west of Richwoods.[1]

Pinery Creek was so named on account of pine timber along its course.[2]
