Orongia medialis is a species of Orsolobidae spider. The species is endemic to New Zealand.[1]
This species was described in 1985 by Ray Forster and Norman Platnick from male and female specimens collected in Wellington. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.

This species is only known from Ōrongorongo Valley in Wellington, New Zealand.
Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers "Data Poor: Size", "Data Poor: Trend" and "One Location".[2]
