Orlovsky District (ru|Орло́вский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the thirty-nine in Kirov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 1989km2. Its administrative center is the town of Orlov. Population: 16,190 (2002 Census); The population of Orlov accounts for 53.8% of the district's total population.
Until 1992, the district was called Khalturinsky (Russian: Халтуринский).
