Orgelet (pronounced as /fr/) is a commune in the Jura department in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in eastern France.[2] It was created in 1973 by the merger of two former communes: Orgelet-le-Bourget and Sézéria.[3] The town is recognized as a remarkable heritage site (Site patrimonial remarquable). The church Notre-Dame de l'Assomption dates from the 13th-17th century.
