North of North explained

North of North is an upcoming Canadian comedy television series, set to premiere on CBC Television, Netflix and APTN in 2025.[1] The series stars Anna Lambe as Siaja, a young Inuk nother who wants to build a new future for herself in the small Arctic community of Ice Cove.[2]

The cast also includes Mary Lynn Rajskub, Tanya Tagaq, Keira Cooper, Maika Harper, Braeden Clarke, Jay Ryan, Kelly William, Zorga Qaunaq and Doreen Simmonds.[3]

The series was created by Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril.[3] Directors include Anya Adams, Danis Goulet, Zoe Leigh Hopkins, Lisa Jackson, Renuka Jeyapalan and Aleysa Young.[3]

Production began in Iqaluit, Nunavut on March 14, 2024.[4]

The series will premiere on January 7, 2025.[5]
