Nika (Russian: Ника) is a Russian broadcasting organization. Operates in the form of a limited liability company. Includes the Nika TV channel and the Nika FM radio station. It is a television and radio channel that broadcasts without the inclusion of a network partner. In addition to its own broadcast channels, Niki programs are broadcast daily from 6 to 9 am and from 17 to 19 pm on the channel and website of the Public Television of Russia.[1]
Created on February 20, 1991, as an independent television company Nika.[2] In 2001, the Kaluga Oblast became the owner of the television and radio company. On December 31, 2003, the Nika FM radio station became part of the television and radio company.
By the decision of the Federal Competition Commission for Television and Radio Broadcasting dated February 1, 2017, the Nika TV was selected as a mandatory public regional television channel (No. 21).
In 2019, the Nika television program “Decision Show” became a winner of the TEFI competition in the “Publicistic Program” category.[3] [4]
In 2022, the channel's film “The Cosmic Parthenon of Kaluga. Perspective 2022" (author Natalia Golovatyuk) was awarded the Silver Sign of the in the category "Best documentary film about architecture and architects".[5]
