Gunner Shepardson (born March 18, 2007), professionally known as Nettspend is an American rapper and songwriter from Richmond, Virginia. He is also an affiliate of the underground rap collectives Novagang and 1c34. His music has been described as "post-post-rage" by The New York Times.

He started making music in the fifth grade, growing up listening to Future, Michael Jackson, Lil Uzi Vert and Justin Bieber.[3] His song "Shine N Peace" was listed among The New York Times best songs of 2023.

Career

On September 10, 2023, a snippet of Nettspend's song "Drankdrankdrank" went viral on Twitter, exposing him to a wider audience.[4]

On January 11, 2024, he released a single titled "40" with Surf Gang producer Evilgiane and Xaviersobased. On March 16, Nettspend performed at Rolling Loud for the first time.[5] [6] [7]

In July 2024, Nettspend released "That One Song", a song sampling "Entombed" by Deftones, after teasing it at multiple live shows.[8] In the weeks that followed, "That One Song", along with other popular Nettspend tracks, was removed from streaming platforms.[9]

On October 3, 2024, Nettspend released the track "F*ck Swag" alongside a music video directed by Cole Bennett.[10]
