He is most known for the roles of Buta Gorilla (Kiteretsu Daihyakka), Daima Jin (High School! Kimengumi), Oolong (Dragon Ball), Dr. Escargon, Ashibe's Father (Shōnen Ashibe), and Scoop-kun (Shūkan Kodomo News) also Capone "Gang" Bege (One Piece).
His wife is Japanese actress Sanae Takagi.
