Miandorud-e Bozorg Rural District (fa|دهستان ميان دورود بزرگ) is in the Central District of Miandorud County, Mazandaran province, Iran.[2] Its capital is the village of Eslamabad.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the former Miandorud District of Sari County) was 24,444 in 6,634 households.[4] There were 9,706 inhabitants in 2,859 households at the following census of 2011,[5] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Miandorud County. The rural district was transferred to the new Central District.[2] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 9,602 in 3,159 households. The most populous of its 13 villages was Eslamabad, with 3,997 people.[6]
