The Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems is a German engineering research institute in Magdeburg, focusing on dynamics.[1] The institute was founded in 1996 and belongs to the Max Planck Society.[1] The founding director was Ernst Dieter Gilles.
