Margaret Eileen Twomey (born 21 February 1963) is Ambassador of Australia to Italy (since July 2020).^[1] She is former High Commissioner of Australia to Fiji, from November 2014 to November 2017.^[2] ^[3] Twomey has an honours degree in arts (Russian and French) from the University of Melbourne. Her grandfather Patrick Twomey started the PJ Twomey Hospital for Lepers in Fiji.^[4] ^[5]
