Last Breath is an upcoming survival thriller film directed by Alex Parkinson and written by Mitchell LaFortune, Parkinson, and David Brooks. It is a feature film remake of the 2019 documentary of the same name that Parkinson co-directed with Richard da Costa.

The film is scheduled to be released in the United States and United Kingdom on 28 February 2025.

Diver Chris Lemons becomes untethered while diving 100 meters under the North Sea.

Cast

Production

In May 2022, it was announced that Alex Parkinson was directing a narrative film remake of his 2019 documentary, with Woody Harrelson, Simu Liu and Djimon Hounsou cast to star.[1]

Principal photography began in Malta in May 2023 with plans to run through July with Finn Cole joining the cast.[2]

In May 2024, Focus Features acquired distribution rights to the film for territories including the United States, France, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea and Vietnam.[3]

Release

Last Breath is scheduled to be released in the United States on 28 February 2025.[4]
