Kurmanayevsky District (ru|Курманаевский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the thirty-five in Orenburg Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 2900km2.[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Kurmanayevka. Population: 17,705 (2010 Census); The population of Kurmanayevka accounts for 24.4% of the district's total population.
