Khormarud-e Shomali Rural District (fa|دهستان خرمارود شمالي) is in the Central District of Azadshahr County, Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Azdar Tappeh.[2]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 11,805 in 2,844 households.[3] There were 13,016 inhabitants in 3,894 households at the following census of 2011.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 14,586 in 4,431 households. The most populous of its 10 villages was Azdar Tappeh, with 4,687 people.[5]
