Khormarud-e Jonubi Rural District (fa|دهستان خرمارود جنوبی) is in Cheshmeh Saran District of Azadshahr County, Golestan province, Iran.[2] It is administered from the city of Now Deh Khanduz.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 3,003 in 758 households.[4] There were 2,584 inhabitants in 661 households at the following census of 2011.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 2,485 in 778 households. The most populous of its nine villages was Su Sara, with 1,100 people.[6]
