Kharqan Rural District (fa|دهستان خرقان) is in the Central District of Razan County, Hamadan province, Iran.[2] Its capital is the village of Surtajin.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 5,605 in 1,340 households.[4] There were 5,263 inhabitants in 1,449 households at the following census of 2011.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 4,776 in 1,545 households. The most populous of its 17 villages was Sarijlu, with 707 people.[6]
