A war memorial was unveiled on Wednesday 8 November 1995, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II by remembering thel residents of Laidley Shire who served in Australia and overseas during the war.[3] It is located in the Memorial Park on Thallon Road .[4] [5]
