Jammie L. Robinson (born January 24, 2001) is an American professional football safety for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at South Carolina and Florida State.
Robinson grew up in Cordele, Georgia, and attended Lee County High School.[1] He was rated a four-star recruit and committed to play college football at South Carolina over offers from Auburn, Kentucky, and Tennessee.[2]
Robinson began his career at South Carolina.[3] He was named a starter for the Gamecocks entering his freshman year and was named to the Southeastern Conference (SEC) All-Freshman team.[4] Robinson had 74 tackles with two tackles for loss, four passes broken up, and one interception as a sophomore.[5] Robinson transferred to Florida State in 2021.[6] He led the Seminoles with 85 tackles and four interceptions in his first season with the team.[7]
The Carolina Panthers selected Robinson with the 145th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL draft.[8] As a rookie, he appeared in 15 games and made two starts. He recorded 17 total tackles in the 2023 season.[9]
