Jackson Nascimento (born 24 August 1924) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.
Revealed by Athletico Paranaense in 1943, Jackson Nascimento played for the club until 1950, being state champion in 1943, 1945 and 1949. In 1950 he transferred to Corinthians, where he was state champion in 1952.[1] He returned to Athletico where he retired in 1956, and He became the second highest scorer in history (just behind Sicupira), with 143 goals in 196 matches, totaling both spells.[2] [3] [4]
After retiring at age 30 as a player, he returned as a coach in 1958, becoming state champion once again with Athletico. He decided to leave football permanently and trained as a lawyer. On 24 August 2024 he completed 100 years of life, being honored.[5] [6]
