Ian Hare is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s. He played at representative level for Great Britain, and at club level for Widnes, as a .[1] [2]
Hare started as a rugby union player, and represented Dorset and Wiltshire.[3] He switched to rugby league in April 1965, signing for Widnes.[4]
Ian Hare won a cap for Great Britain while at Widnes in 1967 against France.[1]
Hare served as a councillor in the Farnworth area for 15 years.[5]
