Hypalocrinus Explained
Hypalocrinus is a monotypic genus of echinoderms belonging to the family Isocrinidae. The only species is Hypalocrinus naresianus.[1]
The species is found in Malesia.
A study comparing ontogenetic development of brachial articulations suggest that Hypalocrinus may in fact be a synonym of Neocrinus, belonging to that genus.[2]
