Hippea Explained
Hippea is an obligate anaerobic and moderately thermophilic bacteria genus from the family of Desulfobacteraceae.[1] [2] [3] Hippea is named after the German microbiologist Hans Hippe.[3]
Phylogeny
The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN)[4] and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)[5]
