Hideya Matsumoto Explained

Hideya Matsumoto (英也, 松本)^[1] is a Japanese mathematician who works on algebraic groups, who proved Matsumoto's theorem about Coxeter groups and Matsumoto's theorem calculating the second K-group of a field.
