Hajjilar Rural District (fa|دهستان حاجيلار) is a former administrative division of Chaypareh District, Khoy County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[2] Its capital was the village of Hajjilar,[3] now a city.[4]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 8,856 in 1,953 households.[5]
After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Chaypareh County. Hajjilar Rural District was renamed Hajjilar-e Jonubi Rural District and transferred to the new Hajjilar District.[6]
